Château Liot 2009 – Sauternes

The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers richness as well as freshness (in the background). It reveals notes of candied pear and crushed vine peach associated with small touches of kumquat, quince as well as discreet hints of litchee and very discreet hints of almond. The palate is fruity, juicy, fresh, well-balanced, very finely tight and offers a good definition, an acidulous frame as well as richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, crushed vine peach, pear and small notes of litchee associated with a subtle hint of pineapple in syrup as well as very discreet hints of crushed dry apricot. Good length.
