The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration, a fine power as well as a small generosity. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of strawberry associated with fine touches of cornflower, toasted/vanilla as well as hints of spices/cardamom, a very slight hint of liquorice and a very discreet hint of tea. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, freshness, tension as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, fleshy blackberry and small notes of cornflower associated with a touch of crunchy cassis, liquorice, Bourbon vanilla and very fine hints of caramelization. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
