The nose is elegant, fine and offers freshness / minerality, a fine power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, boysenberry and small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with touches of violet, blueberry, slight hints of incense, lilac, cardamom as well as discreet toasted hints / spice and a very discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, tension, verticality, a fine richness, gourmandize / suavity, a beautiful definition as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe raspberry, fleshy / juicy cassis and small notes of blueberry associated with small touches of violet, cornflowers, licorice as well as slight hints of cardamom and chocolate / vanilla Bourbon. Tannins are elegant and structuring. Good length. There are very slight hints of caramelized hazelnuts and caramelization on the persistence.
