The nose is powerful, spicy, aromatic and offers a fine and finely tight grain. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, blackberry and small notes of cherry/red fruits associated with very fine touches of graphite, cardamom and Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, juicy/fresh blackberry and small notes of juicy/fresh red fruits associated with small touches of toasted, liquorice and a subtle hint of toasted almond. Tannins are well-built. Good length. A very discreet hint of hazelnut on the finish. A beautiful and gourmande finish.
