The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a very fine richness as well as gourmandize. It reveals notes of fleshy wild strawberry, cherry and small notes of crushed wild cassis associated with fine touches of racy minerality, gray pepper, liquorice as well as a very discreet hint of flowers. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, a fine grain as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/fleshy cherry, fresh/fleshy blackberry and small notes of plum associated with touches of crunchy wild strawberry as well as discreet hints of liquorice, toasted/sweet spices, chocolate and a very discreet hint of zan. Tannins are elegant, fine and structuring.
