The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration/intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, wild berries and more slightly violet associated with touches of wild strawberry, fleshy raspberry as well as discreet hints of Sichuan pepper and a very discreet hint of tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a small suavity, a fine tension, a fine acidulous frame (in the background), a good structure as well as a small power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, ripe/fleshy raspberry and more slightly ripe/fleshy small red berries associated with a touch of violet, liquorice stick, a hint of strawberry, cardamom, toasted as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla, tea (in the background) and chocolate/coffee (in the background). Good length. Good persistence. There is a hint of almond on the persistence.
