Château Laujac 2016 – Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

Château Laujac 2016 – Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

The nose is aromatic and offers concentration as well as a small richness. It reveals notes of cassis, wild blackberry and more slightly spices (nutmeg, clove, Cuben pepper) associated with touches of crunchy raspberry, crunchy red berries as well as a very discreet hint of flowers (in the background) and moch. The palate is fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine juiciness, a mineral frame, precision as well as a structure slightly tight. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, crunchy wild blackberry and more slightly spices associated with touches of cassis bud, fleshy/crunchy red fruits as well as fine hints of toasted almond and chocolate (on the finish).
