The nose is powerful and offers freshness and concentration. This wine should be put in carafe. It reveals notes of wild raspberry and small notes of fresh wild red fruits associated with touches of violet, blackberry, discreet hints of chocolate, mocha/coffee as well as discreet hints of gray pepper and Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, racy, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers a good definition, a beautiful mineral/acidulous frame, a small minerality as well as a good suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/crunchy fruits, fleshy wild raspberry and juicy/crunchy wild red berries associated with small notes of strawberry, chocolate, discreet hints of caramelization, toasted almond as well as a very discreet hint of mocha/coffee, laurel berries and an imperceptible hint of vanilla (in the background). Richness, a small unctuosity and a beautiful acidulous persistence.
