The nose is fruity, fresh and offers power. It reveals notes of raspberry, fleshy/ crushed Quetsche plum and touches of crystallized tangerine combined with hints of wild strawberries / small berries, Sichuan pepper, violets as well as very discreet / imperceptible hints of spices / tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral, precise / clean and offers good definition, good juiciness / gourmandise, dynamism, complexity, a fine straightness as well as a fine acidulous frame (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe raspberry, fleshy Gariguette strawberry and small notes of blackberry associated with small touches of crystallized mandarine, hints of plum, crystallized lemon as well as slight hints of caramelization, tobacco and chocolate. Tannins are well-built. Good length and good persistence. There are hints of hazelnuts, fresh walnuts and caramelization on the persistence.
