The nose is concentrated and offers gourmandize. It reveals notes of boysenberry, small notes of crushed cassis, caramelization and vanilla associated with subtle hints of crushed strawberry, spices and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful mineral frame, juiciness, fullness, gourmandize, fat as well as precision/small straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed strawberry, raspberry and more slightly cassis associated with small touches of fresh boysenberry as well as fine touches of liquorice, vanilla, violet and caramelization. Tannins are fine as well as very slightly tight and firm. There is a very discreet/imperceptible hint of gray pepper and nut on the finish.
