The nose offers fine notes of crushed blackberry, crushed strawberry associated with discreet touches of crushed cassis, toasted oak, liquorice as well as very discreet hints of vanilla and oak. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, fresh, well-balanced and offers an acid frame, fat, a small fullness as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, juicy redcurrant and more slightly cherry associated with touches of toasted oak, red berries, a very discreet touche of zan, cassis bud (in the background) as well as small hints of chocolate and caramelization. Tannins are well-built.
