Couvent des Thorins 2016 – Moulin-à-Vent

The nose is aromatic and offers a small power. It reveals notes of cassis and wild red berries associated with touches of spices, leather as well as slight hints of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave, well-built and offers a good definition, a beautiful freshness, a beautiful racy minerality, a fine grain, gourmandise, precision as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, cassis and small notes of plum, small red berries associated with small touches of spices, leather and a discreet hint of tobacco. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
