On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and crunchy / acidulous redcurrant associated with small touches of wild strawberry, small berries as well as fine touches of licorice, spices, chocolate, cardamom and a very discreet hint of cinnamon. Tannins are well-built. Very discreet chews on the finish.
