The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a small juiciness, a small fleshiness, freshness, a good structure, a beautiful maturity as well as an acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, ripe black / bigarreau cherry and crushed strawberry associated with slight touches of liquorice, a hint of scrubland, racy minerality, vanilla, caramelized oak as well as a discreet hint of tonka bean and an imperceptible hint of tea (in the background). Tannins are fine and supple. Good length. This wine needs to be put in carafe.
