The nose offers hints of blackberries, black berries and small notes of fresh red fruits associated with touches of vanilla, scrubland as well as subtle hints of liquorice, Cuben pepper and a subtle toasted hint / caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a slight acidulous frame, a small juiciness as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, bigarreau cherry and small notes of cassis associated with touches of red small fruits, vanilla, liquorice, spices as well as an imperceptible hint of rosemary. Tannins are well-built, straight and a bit firm. Good length. There are discreet hints of almond and a slight chew on the persistence / finish.
