Lelouvier – 1991 – Calvados

Lelouvier – 1991 – Calvados

The nose is aromatic, powerful and intense. It reveals notes of violets, apples cooked in butter and small notes of vine peach, spices associated with a very discreet hint of kumquat (in the background), gray pepper and an imperceptible hint of camphor. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, frank and offers fleshiness, precision as well as a fine acidulous frame. In the mouth this Calvados expresses notes of juicy peach, juicy green apple and small notes of cooked apple associated with fine touches of citrus, apple blossoms, pâtisseries / caramelization and an imperceptible hint of vanilla. Good length and good persistence. A beautiful and delicate Calvados!
