The nose is powerful and offers intensity as well as concentration. It reveals notes of zest, golden apple and a touch of apple pie associated with hints of citrus and a hint of cinnamon. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a small juiciness, a good definition, dynamism, delicacy, a beautiful roundness, a good finesse as well as a very fine acidulous frame. On the palate this Calvados expresses notes of juicy fleshy peach, cooked golden apple and small notes of crushed Williams pear combined with a discreet hint of quince, yellow plum, zest as well as a very discreet hint of gray pepper and grilled.
