The nose is aromatic, elegant, fine, aromatic and offers delicacy. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed cassis, iris / flowers and small notes of crunchy strawberry associated with small touches of spices, small toasted touches, Sichuan pepper as well as a hint of racy minerality and a discreet hint of licorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, softness, freshness, a beautiful density (but full of finesse), a small tension as well as a slight acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of fleshy berries associated with small / fine toasted touches, minerality and a very discreet touch of vanilla. Tannins are fine, well-built and elegant. Gourmandise and a very discreet chew on the finish.
