The nose is fruity, powerful, aromatic and offers elegance. It reveals notes of blackberry, elderberry and small notes of red berries associated with touches of spices, Sichuan pepper, rosemary / garrigue as well as discreet hints of dry local forest soil, violet, iris and licorice. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a small tension, precision, a bit aerial, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a beautiful structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of wild strawberry, cherry, liquorice associated with slight touches of blueberry, flowers (violet, iris), cocoa as well as discreet hints of almond. Tannins are well-integrated and very discreetly chewy. Good length. The finish is gourmande.
