The nose is racy, aromatic, a bit powerful and offers elegance as well as a slight richness. It reveals notes of cassis, wild raspberry and small notes of crushed cassis combined with discreet hints of Cuben pepper, spices as well as an imperceptible hint of garrigue, almond and caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, a slight gourmandise, a certain finesse, freshness, elegance, suavity, a bit aerial as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry and fleshy / juicy cassis associated with small notes of wild raspberry, juicy / ripe redcurrants as well as small touches of caramelization, Bourbon vanilla and chocolate. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length and good persistence. There are a hint of cocoa, pepper, caramelization, vanilla and juicy blackberry on the persistence.
