The nose is aromatic, fruity, slightly powerful and offers richness. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, wild blackberry and very small notes of crushed raspberry combined with small notes of fleshy / ripe blackberry, spices, discreet hints of liquorice as well as a very discreet toasted hint, balsamic and chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise, well-built and offers a good definition, a slight fresh frame, a small juiciness, a slight gourmandise, roundness, suavity as well as a slight acidulous sensation (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy Boysenberry and small notes of juicy blueberry associated with fine touches of fleshy strawberry as well as slight hints of chocolate, licorice, caramelization and a very discreet / imperceptible hint of black olive (in the background). Tannins are a bit firm. Good length. There is an imperceptible touch of almond on the persistence.
