The nose is fruity, powerful and spicy. It reveals notes of cassis, pepper, violet and small notes of crushed wild strawberry associated with touches of coffee as well as hints of spices and Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, precise, elegant, racy, suave, slightly tight and offers a mineral frame, a slight gourmandise as well as a small power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy Boysenberry and small notes of crushed raspberry combined with slight touches of dark chocolate, coffee as well as an imperceptible touch of grove and small hints of vanilla / sweet spices. Tannins are well-built, elegant and structuring. Good persistence. There are a hint of cocoa, sweet spices and a toasted hint / oak on the aftertaste.
