The nose is aromatic, elegant, structured and offers a slight straightness. It reveals notes of blackberry, crunchy cassis and flowers (cornflower, lilac) associated with small touches of berries, blueberry, Sichuan pepper, spices as well as a very discreet hint of undergrowth. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a good definition, a small acidulous frame, a small minerality, freshness, precision, a slight tension as well as a beautiful grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, black cherry and small notes of cassis associated with slight touches of small blue fruits, Zan, spices, cardamom as well as a very discreet hint of tobacco and undergrowth. Tannins are elegant and fine. Good length. There are a very discreet hint of vanilla and a very discreet hint of chocolate on the finish.
