Domaine Foret – Chardonnay, Arbois – Macvin du Jura

The nose is aromatic, fresh and offers a beautiful finesse as well as a small intensity. It reveals notes of dry white grapes, candied lemon and small notes of peach in syrup associated with small / fine touches of green apple, lime and very discreet hints of spices. The palate is juicy, fruity, well-balanced, well-structured and offers a good definition, a small tension, suavity, freshness, a beautiful definition / precision as well as dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied lemon, candied quince and small notes of vine peach in syrup, marmalade associated with touches of almond, fresh walnuts as well as discreet hints of white flowers / linden tree, candied mandarin, honey and spices. Good length. There are a fine firmness and a very discreet tannic sensation on the finish.
