Domaine Laroche – Les Fourchaumes 2015, Vieilles Vignes – Chablis Premier Cru

The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers finesse. It reveals notes of white fruit, toasted bread and minerality associated with fine hints of zest, quince, citrus as well as a subtle hint of small yellow fruits / beeswax (in the background) and a discreet hint of vanilla / butter. The mouth is fruity, fresh, juicy, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a beautiful precision, finesse, a small gourmandise as well as a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy quince, juicy tangerine, juicy lemon, vine peach and small notes of pear associated with a discreet touch of exotic fruits as well as hints of butter / vanilla. Good length and good persistence.
