The nose offers concentration. The wine nees to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of cassis, wild berries and small notes of crunchy strawberry associated with small touches of cassis bud as well as small hints of dark chocolate and discreet hints of toasted / caramelized oak. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a fine tension, suavity, a small fat as well as a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, black cherry and small note of juicy berries associated with fine touches of chocolate, toasted / caramelized oak and a very discreet hint of hazelnut (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of cassis bud. Tannins are a bit firm. Good length. The finish is slightly gourmande.
