Pfaff – Cuvée Bacchus 2016 – Gewurztraminer – Alsace

The nose is fruity and offers a fine fleshiness. It reveals notes of vine peach, pink lychee and small notes of sweet pink grapefruit associated with hints of pear and a hint of white flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers suavity, a small fleshiness, minerality, a mineral frame, a small freshness, a (very) slight tension as well as residual sugar. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy vine peach, sweet pink grapefruit and small notes of pear associated with touches of passion fruit, sweet lemon, pear as well as slight hints of white flowers and discreet hints of spices. Good length.
