The nose is fruity, mineral and offers elegance as well as a fine concentration. The wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of crushed elderberries, wild raspberries and wild red berries associated with touches of red flowers, racy minerality, discreet touches of garrigue (rosemary, thyme …), olive as well as discreet hints of Sichuan pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, well- balanced, fleshy, delicate and offers a beautiful roundness, a beautiful volume, elegance, generosity, precision as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy redcurrants, fleshy cherry and small notes of juicy raspberry associated with small touches of boysenberry, cassis, hints of garrigue, zan, vanilla as well as discreet hints of sweet spices, black olive and a very discreet hint of caramelization (on the finish). Tannins are chewy. Good length. There an imperceptible touch of ripe almond and coffee on the persistence.
