The nose is fruity, structured and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of bell pepper, fleshy cassis and fleshy blackberry combined with subtle hints of gray / sichuan pepper, a subtle hint of purple flowers / grove as well as subtle touches of wild red berries, liquorice and a subtle touch of tobacco. The palate is beautifully fruity, well-balanced, supple and offers juiciness, a slight minerality, a slight gourmandise as well as roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, juicy fleshy blueberry and discreet hints of juicy redcurrants combined with subtle touches of toasted oak, vanilla as well as subtle hints of coffee and caramelization / brown sugar on the finish / persistence. Tannins are a bit firm, square and very slightly dusty.
