The nose is fruity, powerful and offers concentration. It reveals notes of ripe redcurrant and fresh wild strawberry associated with slight touches of cassis (in the background) as well as discreet / slight touches of spices and a discreet hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, slightly powerful and offers gourmandise, a slight freshness, a beautiful juiciness, an acid frame as well as fat / suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of redcurrant, blackberry and slight notes of juicy wild berries, crushed / jammy cassis combined with a subtle / very discreet touch of mocha (in the background), Zan and spices. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. There are a very discreet hint of caramelization and a very discreet hint of almond on the persistence.
