The nose is fruity, well-balanced and offers power. It revels notes of very ripe boysenberries, fresh cassis and slight touches of cruhed raspberry combined with a hint of redcurrant, wood, tobacco as well as a touch of tea and cardamom. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, straight and offers a slight juiciness, tension, a beautiful freshness, a good volume as well as a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, ripe black cherry and plum associated with touches of crushed / fleshy blackberry as well as subtle touches of dark chocolate, cardamom, tea and wood. Tannins are fine and very slightly dusty. Good length.
