The nose is slightly powerful. It reveals notes of cassis, cherry and slight hints of ripe wild fruits combined with a hint of spices and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers roundness, a mineral frame and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, fleshy strawberry and cassis associated with touches of sweet spices as well as a subtle hint of mocha, wood and an imperceptible hint of licorice. Tannins are well-built. There is a touch of cocoa on the finish.
