The nose is precise, racy, fine and offers power. It reveals notes of plum, red berries and slight notes of cherry associated with touches of plum as well as discreet touches of spices, pepper, toasted oak and a very discreet hint of flowers. The mouth is fruity, gourmand, suave, silky, precise, a bit aerial, elegant, racy and offers a nice definition, a beautiful precision, a beautiful delicacy, harmony as well as a nice finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, fleshy / ripe redcurrant and small notes of Quetsche plum associated with a subtle touch of blackberry / blueberry, slight touches of chocolate, caramelized oak as well as slight hints of Zan, sweet spices, toasted oak and an imperceptible hint of rose. Tannins are fine, straight and very slightly chewy. Good length and good persistence. There are a touch of tonka bean and a hint of caramelization on the persistence.
