The nose reveals slight notes of blackberry, strawberry (in the background) and touches of leather associated with a hint of cherry, Sichuan pepper as well as a discreet hint of violet. The wine needs to be put in carafe. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers fat as well as a mineral frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy cherry and small notes of fleshy blackberry associated with discreet woody touches and tea. Tannins are well-built and a bit chewy. Good length.
