Château Du Gazin 2014 – Canon-Fronsac

Château Du Gazin 2014 – Canon-Fronsac

The nose reveals notes of blackberry, underbrush and fine hints of cassis combined with a subtle hint of strawberry as well as a very discreet hint of mocha and wood. The mouth is mineral (nice minerality), fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acid frame as well as a small fat. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cassis and fine touches of raspberry, strawberry associated with a hint of toasted oak, touches of minerality, subtle touches of dark chocolate, coffee as well as an imperceptible hint of caramelization and sweet spices. Tannins are slightly mellow. Good length.
