The nose is fruity, powerful, well-balanced and aromatic. It reveals notes of crushed black berries and chocolate powder associated with hints of wild small fruits, wild strawberry as well as a hint of caramelization, lico- rice, dark chocoalte, a very discreet hint of graphite and an imperceptible hint of violet in the background. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well- balanced and offers a beautiful tension, a slight minerality as well as a beautiful harmony/definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, boysenberry and small notes of ripe/crushed wild strawberry associated with discreet touches of cherry, dark chocolate/mo- cha and woody hints. Tannins are fine, firm and very silghtly dry. Good length and beautiful persistence on touches of bitter dark chocolate.
