The nose is fruity and offers a fine richness as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of black berries, wild blackberry, fleshy strawberries and small notes of blue fruits combined with a hint of flowers, a discreet hint of thyme as well as fine hint of wood, sweet spices, mocha and an imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper (in the background) after aeration. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly gourmande and offers a nice mineral frame, a fine juiciness and suavity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream, crushed Gariguette strawberry and fine notes of blueberry combined with fine touches of cornflower, plum, liquorice, fine hints of caramelization, toasted oak as well as a subtle hint of bitter dark chocolate on the finish / aftertaste. Tannins are well-built. Good length. An easy-drinking wine.
