The nose is fine, powerful, concentrated and fine. It reveals notes of dried lemon zest, raisins and dried figs combined with a touch of white pepper, exotic spices and a fine / discreet woody hints and a fine hint of minerality / heather. The palate is fruity, fine, well-balanced and offers a nice definition, a nice roundness as well as a fine sweetness. In the mouth this Whisky expresses a fine note of Zante currants, date, minerality / heather and candied lemon combined with fine touches of apple, juicy peach, cereals, roasting as well as a touch of cedar, wood and a touch of Christmas cake.
