The nose is fruity, relatively elegant and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and wild small red fruits associated with hints of ripe berries, slight notes of licorice as well as a hint of spices, a woody hint and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, gourmand, well-built, precise, well-balanced and offers a slight tension, a nice freshness as well as a nice fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis, slight notes of red fruits (berries, strawberry) associated with hints of toasted oak, licorice, chocolate as well as a subtle hint of vanilla and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. Tannins are fine, well-built, straight and very slightly firm.
