The nose is aromatic, gourmand, round, soft and offers a slight richness. It reveals notes of black cherry and cassis cream associated with slight notes of reducrrant jam, spices (discreet hint of gray pepper…) as well as an imperceptible hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy and offers a slight richness, straightness, tension, a beautiful acid frame as well as a beautiful suavity/elegance. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry, fleshy/juicy blackberry and slight notes of plum associated with a hint of juicy small red fruits and, slight/discreet notes of toasted oak as well as a very discreet hint of chocolate (in the background) and sweet spices/bourbon vanilla. Tannins are fine, well-built and still young (+18 months). Good length and persistence.
