The nose is powerful and concentrated. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry and concentrated cassis associated with slight notes of wild strawberry as well as woody touches, spices, Sichuan pepper and cacao. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a slight minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cassis and fresh plum associated with slight notes of minerality, a discreet woody note as well as a very discreet hint of hazelnut and cacao in the background. Good length.
