The nose is fresh, fruity and fine. It reveals notes of boysenberry and cassis associated with slight notes of red fruits (wild strawberry), minerality as well as a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy and offers a beautiful preserved fruit, fat as well as a slight tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy Gariguette strawberry and slight notes of cherry, juicy black fruits associated with a discreet hint of toasted/caramelized oak. Tannins are well-built and a bit dry. There is a discreet hint of cacao/coffee on the persistence. Good length.
