Domaine Gavoty – Cuvée Clarendon 2005 – Côtes de Provence

The nose reveals notes of very ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and fine hints of ripe red berries combined with hints of undergrowth as well as a discreet hint of wood and a very discreet hint of pepper. The mouth is fruity, silky and offers a fine juiciness as well as a nice fresh frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe blackberry, sour cherry, ripe raspberry and hints of cassis, very ripe red berries combined with slight toasted notes as well as a very discreet hint of mushroom and a very discreet hint of pepper. Tannins are fine and slightly dry. Good length.
