On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh cassis and redcurrant associated with slight notes of boysenberry, juicy plum as well as a discreet hint of strawberry jam, slight notes of licorice, cardamom and toasted oak. Tannins are fine, elegant and well-built. Good length and persistence. Beautiful suavity and gourmandise on the finish.
