The nose is fine, fruity and elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry, strawberry and slight notes of blueberry associated with fine touches of licorice, tobacco and a fine hint of violet. The palate is fruity, gourmand, well-balanced, relatively fat and offers suavity, a small tension, freshness as well as a nice unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis jam, crushed strawberry and fine notes of licorice associated with touches of toasted oak as well as discreet notes of almond. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length.
