Château Doisy Daëne 2015 – Barsac, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, gourmand, fine and generous. It reveals notes of candied lemon associated with touches of crystallized tangerine, honey as well as slight notes of candied pear, a discreet touch of fresh almonds and a hint of flowers. The mouth is fat, elegant, mineral, sleek, unctuous, nicely balanced and offers tension, a nice maturity and a discreet acid frame in the background. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied lemon and slight notes of candied clementine associated with a hint of flowers, honey, white fruit (in the background) and a slight / discreet touch of pâtisserie. Good length and persistence. Beautiful balance!
