The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers finesse. It reveals notes of blackberry jam, cassis, iris and slight notes of violet associated with woody touches, spices and a discreet note of pepper. The palate is fruity, suave, relatively gourmand, relatively fat and offers freshness as well as a good silky and slightly creamy matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of plum associated with slight notes of licorice, small notes of graphite, cornflower as well as small oaky notes and spices. Tannins are fine and slightly dry. Good length and beautiful aromatic persistance.
