The nose is fruity, gourmand and relatively concentrated. It reveals notes of cassis and blueberry combined with a touch of blackberry, violet as well as a touch of liquorice and cornflower. The palate is fruity, relatively fat and offers minerality, a certain freshness, a small tension, an acid frame (in the background) and a relatively silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry jam and cassis associated with slight notes of chocolate, licorice and violet. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length and persistence with small notes of dark chocolate and a hint of coffee.
