The palate is fruity, fresh, velvety, relatively gourmand and offers a beautiful frame and precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and touches of plum associated with slight notes of licorice, a hint of toasted oak, Sichuan pepper and spices. Tannins are fine, well-built and very slightly dry. Good length and persistence.
