Domaine Carrette – Les Crays 2014 – Pouilly-Fuissé

The nose is fruity, relatively elegant and racy. It reveals notes of mirabelle plum and yellow peach combined with a touch of citrus associated with a hint of apple as well as a hint of flowers / fresh herbs and a hint of spice. The palate is fruity, ample, gourmand, elegant, well-balanced, beautifully fleshy and offers a smoothness, suavity, fine fresh acid and a small frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of yellow peach, mirabelle plum and slight notes of ripe white fruits combined with touches of ripe pineapple and lemon. Good length and persistence.
